I took a very small break from jewelry to spend time in my second favorite place...the kitchen! The result? Two amazing dishes! The best brownies I have EVER tasted...and... Tomato Watermelon Strawberry Salad. Let's start with dessert...and since my 10 year old daughter made them first..I can't completely take credit...and it isn't OUR recipe...but so good...we had to share!!
I give you the WORLD's Bestest Brownies!

World's Bestest Brownies

  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cups butter, melted
  • 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1. Directions (Are you ready for E-Z?)

Combine the sugar, flour, cocoa, eggs and melted butter and mix.

Do this by hand, until the dry ingredients are just incorporated into the wet, and stop. DON'T beat it...it makes for a chewy...in a yucky sort of way...brownie!

Pour the batter and spread it out. Bake at 325° for 20-30 minutes. It’s done when a toothpick inserted in the tallest part comes out clean.

Keep in mind you’ve got chips in there. If you hit one with the toothpick it will have melted chocolate on it. You might need to poke a couple of spots to make sure you aren’t hitting a chip.
