Crave Desire Love one of my Favorite things Coconut Water
Coconuts have water in them? I thought they had milk...and well, you know...coconut? And what about that whole "put the lime in the coconut and shake it all up" thing?
Yes, I went there.
But really, coconut water may be the best held secret out there. And now you will know about it too!

First, the facts.
Did you know a coconut is actually a seed? One of the worlds largest seeds, normal sized seed for Goliath, but a seed none the less. About a bajillion years ago, give or take a few years, natives called the coconut tree "the tree that gives all that is needed for life". It seems a bit long for a name, and I'm not really sure how the word coconut came out of that...but really, who am I to ask?
But seriously, it has taken us that bajillion of years to realize the secrets that lie inside the lovely coconut!
So what is coconut water? It's what the experts call an isotonic beverage. Simple language? It is perfectly balanced to give our bodies exactly what we need.
How about this fact? I read that doctors have used coconut water as an intravenous fluid, because it's totally compatible with our bodies. Hello natural!!
One of my fav benefits...as a long time hater of all things Gatorade or sport drink poison like ... it is a mega hydrating beverage rich in electrolytes. The stuff we lose when we exercise. Those icky sports drinks are full of sugar and who knows what kind of dyes - coconut water, has all the benefits...none of the ick! #winning
Need more convincing?
  • amazing for your digestive system, removes toxins

  • helps promote weight loss (that has to do with the digestive and thyroid)
  • aids circulation
  • promotes weight loss
  • helps break up kidney stones
  • virus fighter
  • helps with urinary problems
  • reduces wrinkles
  • and so on and so on.....
Are you listening now?
It's 100% natural. It's fat free. Cholesterol free. Low calorie. Low in sodium. Lightly sweet and very refreshing. And it doesn't taste like coconut - even though I LOVE coconut and wouldn't mind!
I bought it at Costco, but it's also available at Amazon...seriously! Pack of 12...easy to take on the go.
I have one first thing every morning with a tablespoon of Chia seeds. (Don't worry, we'll get to those!)
Give it a shot. Do it for the benefits. Do it for yourself. You can thank me later!
