Step by Step Stone setting visual

Stone setting. It's a technique most goldsmiths know how to do. Our methods may vary, but we are all very similar in our approach. One way to set stones is a flush mount, or gypsy setting. It's where the stone lies flat in a the metal surface...seemingly one with the metal. So here is a little behind the scenes. I won't bore you with the details...so I made a small picture step by step so you can see this is no easy process!
